Ping Zhang, M.D., Ph.D., professor of pathology, has practiced renal pathology for 26 years. After completing his three years of postdoctoral training in Dr. Barry M Brenner’s laboratory in the Renal Division of Brigham and Women’s Hospital, Harvard Medical School, Dr. Zhang served both his anatomic pathology residency and a year of renal pathology fellowship at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center, Harvard Medical School (mentored by Dr. Seymour Rosen). Now he has been the chief of the renal pathology service for the past 15 years (since 2009).
